of public opinion which is very relevant here. dana jacobson has interviewed lance armstrong, good to see body of you. let me start by asking each of you, anyone who wasn't watching you last night, you watched the first part of the interview. you were both -- you were not satisfied. i'm putting it nicely. you didn't think he did a good job. >> he wasn't contrite at all. he didn't -- he may have been trying to say i'm sorry. he didn't even come close to it in the way he acted and the way he acted toward people that he hurt. i don't know how he makes up for it tonight. i don't know how that's possible -- >> you don't think he could say something -- he's talking about his wife, his children -- >> i think he could have cried and nobody would have -- i shouldn't say nobody. most people would not have believed him. i think i said at the end of last night, what's so difficult, it was probably too soon. i don't know if he could say anything where he could get the majority of people on his side at this point because he lied for so long about this and he went after people. he didn't just lie, he we
. dana bash is live in washington. let's talk about dianne feinstein's props first. she's going to be holding a bushmasterer? >> reporter: i'm not sure if she'll be holding it. she might. she will have more than one assault weapon and she's going to have them on display. there you see the bushmaster ar-15. that is was, of course, the kind of weapon used in the newtown shootings. but the reason she is going to do this, i'm told, is to show specifically her fellow democrat, of which there are half a dozen or more that want to do little if anything to change the assault weapon laws, that you don't need these kinds of guns in the average of ordinary people. that is likely the argument she is going to make. again, it's going to be aimed at her fellow democrats resistant to this. but she is going to have a lot of different people with her to make this argument. this is the unveiling of the premier key legislation she promised to put out at the beginning of congress right after newtown. we are expecting to have quite a show when she comes up in about an hour. >> just so people understa
, wherever, iraq, won't be going back to iraq, prime minister maliki didn't like dana rohrabacher and i questioning him about repaying some of the u.s. money that we spent to give him the opportunity to be elected, especially since they now have all that oil revenue, and he also didn't like us bringing up the fact that they promised the united states when they took over, the government, that they would protect the people, the refugees from iran, and that actually the military had gone in and killed some of those people that he and the u.s. had pledged would be safe. and he didn't like that. and apparently sent word that we were not welcomed in this country anymore. we are ok with americans dying so i can get elected here in iraq, but we don't want anybody making us keep our promises here in iraq. i have seen our military in the kurdish areas of northern iraq, all around the world, i was in only for four years, and one thing that they are very concerned about that they can't talk about publicly, but especially after we had two former seals killed trying to protect the ambassador when it
